A list of websites and resources that I have found useful (or would like to promote!) If there is a link you think I should include here, please let me know.
Australian Breastfeeding Association
I’d never rung a helpline of any sort before, but when I was on holiday and away from my child health nurse and mothers’ group, I was having some trouble breastfeeding. Friendly, understanding and professional. No such thing as a silly question!! Call them! 1800 mum 2 mum (1800 686 2 686)

The Bump
This website is a part of The Knot and The Nest family. It is from the US but I really enjoyed using the forum during my pregnancy. It has lots of videos and products and questions answered.
Huggies Australia
Of course Huggies have a website, but I’d never looked at it before now. It is a wealth of resources! Blogs, forums, recipes, activities, design ideas…you name – this website has it!
MelliMoo Creations
This business is run by my friend Melanie Parker in Queensland. MelliMoo Creations make unique childrens wear and accessories with fun funky designs so your child stands out in the crowd.

Ngala
I have rung Ngala for advice with Lucy’s sleeping once, I was surprised when I rang the helpline and had to give my name and number to have them call me back…it took about half an hour but by that time Lucy had woken up grouchy from her nap! It was lovely, supportive and knowledgeable advice and I wouldn’t hesitate to call again in future.
Raising Children Network
This website is amazing. It is easy to navigate and contains information for parents from newborns, right up to grown-ups! Lots of videos, news and highlights, forums….lots!
